A specialized technology is used to impregnate carbon ink into a fiber glass sheet, thereby making it highly resistant to acidic reaction and vibration. The fiber glass sheet or mat can be produced ultra thin as well as flexible and yet be able to produce the resistance as required by design. When electrical power is applied to the mat it will radiate Infrared energy to the level desired.

GoldenWave offers numerous advantages. It is thin, light weight, safe to use and offers non-poisonous characteristics. The GoldenWave mat produces Infrared heat, radiation, within the wavelength that falls between 6 and 14 µm, the so called Light of Life arena. This spreads the primary output evenly around the peak human output level of 9.4 microns. By design, GoldenWave uses a specialized printing process that breaks with traditional limitations. This makes it possible to produce the mat in multiple sizes and at the same time to maintain flexibility. This process is now widely used in numerous applications including saunas, solar homes, and sleeping bags used by the astronauts, as well as hundreds of other applications utilized in everyday life.

Traditional saunas use many different types of heating elements to produce heat with the most popular being wire type electrical and ceramic conductors. Units of this type that use a small heater produce heat from the Near Infrared spectrum, that area of the wavelength that is very hot. This may cause breathing difficulties as well as cause a burning sensation to the eyes and the skin when used over the long term.

The GoldenWave produces heat within the Far Infrared wavelength between 6 and 14 µm. This develops resonance within our body because it relates to the 9.4 micron peak output of the human body.
